Whatever brings you to counselling, I offer a space where you can get to know yourself better, meeting difficult feelings with kindness and honesty. Together, we will work on building a lasting trust in yourself, so you can fully engage in the world.
I am an integrative therapist with over twenty years’ experience. My core approach is relational – exploring your sense of self and the way you relate to the world and the people around you. I can also draw on my training in mindfulness and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) when needed.
I work with adults and young people aged 13 and over. Over the years, I have seen clients bringing family and relationship issues, work/school stress, bereavement and other forms of loss, I have a particular interest in helping clients who are facing challenging life transitions. This could be moving through school stages, embarking on adult life, becoming a parent, menopause or 'empty nesting.' Also anyone who is struggling with our changing world and feelings related to climate change and biodiversity loss.
I work in-person from my garden studio in Rickmansworth and can offer online sessions over Zoom. I also offer wild therapy sessions in the nearby Herts countryside, for those who want to explore their connection with life in a different way.
I offer weekly sessions but can be flexible. Appointments last 50 minutes and I charge £50 per session.
It is hard to predict how long therapy will last, each person comes with different needs. But if money is a concern, please feel free to discuss with me. I offer reduced fees for lower-income clients.
